Teams translates what you receive. This translates what you send.

Microsoft Teams can translate the messages that come in, but when you're the one writing, you're on your own. With QuickTranslate you type in your language in the Teams chat, press Ctrl+Alt+T and the message is translated right in the box, in the right tone for work.

Your reply, in their language

The text is replaced with its translation in the Teams message box. Check it and send it: no copy-pasting between windows.

A work tone

Professional for clients and management, formal for other departments, neutral for the team chat. Without sounding machine-translated.

Nothing to set up at your company

It isn't a Teams add-in: it doesn't depend on your admin enabling anything. Works in the desktop app and in Teams on the web.

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't Teams translate already?

Teams translates the messages you receive, on demand or automatically. What it doesn't do is translate what you write before you send it — that's what QuickTranslate covers.

Does it work in chats, channels and meetings?

It works in any Teams text box: private chats, group chats, channel posts and meeting chat. It doesn't translate audio.

Is it safe to use at work?

It only acts when you press the shortcut, and only on the text at that moment. It doesn't access your Microsoft account or your chats, and we don't store what you translate.

QuickTranslate
