Frequently asked questions
Doesn't Telegram translate already?
Telegram translates the messages you receive (turn on "Show Translate Button" in Settings → Language), and with Premium it can translate whole chats. None of it translates what you write before you send it.
Does it work in Telegram Desktop and Telegram Web?
Yes. QuickTranslate works on the Windows text box, so it works the same in the desktop app and the web version.
Do I have to add a bot to the group?
No. It doesn't touch your account or your groups: it only acts on your computer when you press the shortcut.
